When we first met Julia and Demetrie, it was clear they intended to spoil their guests. They chose a winter woodlands theme for their June date, and were lucky enough to have fine weather, holding their short but sweet ceremony in our gardens. It was important their guests travel once, be warm and comfortable and have plenty of food and drink going all night. We served canapés in our courtyard before a 3 course dinner inside. The venue was set in white, champagne and forest green with candles, raw wood and hessian as authentic touches. By providing umbrellas and throws, a drinks package until midnight, plenty of hot food and taxi chips for guests to get home, everything was covered! The venue looked stunning and guests were well cared for, making their winter woodland wedding everything they had hoped for.

Client: Emily and Ryan

For Emily and Ryan, it was important their wedding was a very family orientated day. They married at Western Springs, before coming to Carrington's for their reception. They served canapes and personlised bottles of their favourite drinks as guests arrived. After an hour of live music and mingling in the courtyard, guests were seated for a Table Banquet dinner. Their day was very special and Emily filled it with meaningful touches - notes to each guest, a homemade photobooth and even designed the labels for all of the wine on the tables.

Client: Sarah and Josh

Sarah and Josh were looking for a cost effective wedding for their 80 guests. They wanted a ceremony which would be memorable and unique, and chose our courtyard for this. They dressed the pergola with hessian bunting, and wild flowers to work in with their theme. They organised their day so they could spend as much time as possible with their guests. By tailoring their menu to exclude canapes, guests were invited inside for an early dinner - with real emphasis on the dancing part of the evening. Sarah and Josh set a $3,000 limit for their bar tab, with guests paying for their own spirits. The total fell slightly short of this. Their day was simple yet pretty, and all the guests raved about the night.

Client: Alice and Georgio

Alice and Georgio envisioned their wedding day as one big party! With a 4pm ceremony offsite, guests arrived to Carringtons from 6pm. Bubbly, canapes and live music greeted guests, while the couple took photos within the Unitec grounds and gardens. With a casual set up of couches and bar leaners they were able to achieve a simple yet elegant wedding without seating guests for a formal dinner. After a few quick speeches the evening was filled of fingerfood, drinking, dancing and delicious cake! The happy couple left at midnight, through an archway of sparklers while everyone else partied into the night.
